Yoga is the perfect activity to get some peace of mind and it is an arguably underrated workout. Yoga the People is a go-to resource when studios aren’t open and if you’re feeling added stress these days. They offer two classes a day via Zoom and are a “pay what you can” organization. It’s an accessible resource that works perfectly for apartment living.
Le Sweat
Le Sweat is the perfect option for those tight on time! Le Sweat founder (former SoulCycle instructor) Charlee Atkins offers strength and toning workouts that range from 7-30 minutes. If you’re in a pinch for time, Atkins has you covered with a blend of strength and endurance routines. Even better, her routines are all available from your phone with a $12.99 per month subscription.
Nike Run Club
If running is your thing, this is a must-have (and it’s free)! Nike Run club offers music recommendations, guided audio runs, and acknowledges when you break your own records. It might sound silly, but the virtual trophies give us that little bit of encouragement that keeps us going.
Dancing Alone Together
This online platform is for those who get too easily bored from traditional workout routines. If running is not for you, or maybe you just feel like spicing it up, this platform offers an array of dance classes compiled by the dance community. Turn up the music and get dancing!
AllTrails
Since being in quarantine, it could be useful to get more acquainted with your area or neighborhood. There are so many hidden gems and opportunities to appreciate nature that we don’t take because life gets too hectic. AllTrails is the perfect app that connects you with the closest hiking, biking, and running trails. The app includes reviews from experienced hikers and photos that can assist you in choosing the perfect outdoor activity. Sometimes a little outdoor time gives us the peace of mind that we need!
