1. Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming

Strap on your backpack, pack plenty of water and set out for the hike of your life. Nestled in the heart of Wyoming, Grand Teton National park is truly a national treasure and a natural wonder. Towering mountains host hundreds of incredible hiking trails with spectacular views in every direction. Looking for a place to cool down? Take a hike down to the Snake River and relax along the bank or be daring and take a dip into the cool water. There are plenty of opportunities for camping, group hikes, and RV rental spaces.

 

2. Oneonta Gorge, Oregon

Looking for the perfect escape? Travel to Oneonta Gorge where scenic strolls and gorgeous forestry are abundant. This 2.7-mile loop around the gorge is free to all visitors and has something to offer everyone. If you’re seeking adventure, take the 1.8-mile hike to Triple Falls, where 120-foot waterfalls await you. Going with small children? Soak in the sunshine with a family picnic at Gorge Trail, just 0.2 miles from the trail base. There you’ll enjoy Ponytail Falls, an 80-foot waterfall sure to leave the whole family in awe. Talk about the ultimate paradise.

 

3. Maroon Bells-Snowmass Wilderness, Colorado

Ignite your inner wild child by trekking the Aspen highlands in the Maroon Bells-Snowmass Wilderness nestled inside the Gunnison National Forest. This hike features everything the adventurer in you wants to see, including ski slopes, hot springs, bathing lakes and much more (all hikers are required to bring Bear Canisters). Those wishing to stay overnight and experience the splendor of sleeping under a gorgeous night sky can do so at the Conundrum Hot Springs (permit required). What better way to reconnect with nature?

 

4. Haiku Stairs of Oahu, Hawaii

Step your Hawaiian escape up a notch by visiting the Haiku Stairs of Oahu. In recent years, the stairs have been closed off due to safety reasons, but we recommend taking the trip up as the views are truly worthwhile. The 4000 ft long stairs built in 1942 are reminiscent of Willow’s serene charm and earthy escape. What better way to experience its glory than bringing along your Willow scent to enjoy while you immerse yourself in the luscious Pacific breeze. You’ll never feel the same again!

 

5. Jungle Gardens, Avery Island, Louisiana

If serenity is your goal, look no further than the Jungle Gardens of Avery Island, Louisiana. Home to the infamous Tabasco hot sauce company, Avery Island’s Jungle Garden is a magical hidden gem. Willow’s Ingredients

Inspired by the great Mother Earth, Willow contains ingredients from the enchanted forest. Grounded with a clean, woodsy base of benzoin tree and cedarwood, topped with bright green notes of galbanum, this scent embodies everything we love about the outdoors.

Galbanum

Derived from a plant native to the Middle East and Asia, galbanum offers a rich, spicy, forest-like aroma that offers brightness to this earthy enchantment.

Benzoin Tree

  1. Wake up with a glass of warm water and lemon

A cup of warm water with fresh squeezed lemon in the morning is your new best friend. This combination is the holy grail for flushing out toxins and boosting your metabolism. Great for regulation and alertness, this morning habit is a must. You can also try steeping tea with fresh lemon for a caffeine kick. 

  1. Cut out processed sugar

While sugar is not inherently harmful, too much sugar, especially processed sugar, does more harm than good. When our bodies take in too much sugar, our insulin level spike, causing our bodies to store excess fat. To combat, try cutting out processed sugars and instead opt for natural sweeteners found in fruit or honey. *Fruit also contains fiber which studies show many humans have a deficiency of.

  1. Opt for complex carbohydrates

Simple carbs, for example, white bread, crackers, and cakes are essentially processed in the body as sugar and used for energy. However, because simple carbs are so easy to digest, this often results in a fast spike in your body’s blood sugar post carb consumption and can cause weight gain (unless a person is extremely active). One easy way to enjoy your carbs without the worry of a spike is by eating more complex carbs, like sweet potato and brown rice. Complex carbs are slower digesting, and don’t spike your insulin the way simple carbs do.  

  1. Choose darker greens

We all know mom was right about eating your vegetables, but what she might not have told you is the importance of eating dark leafy greens. Darker greens, such as kale and spinach, contain greater amounts of minerals and vitamins than lighter green like iceberg lettuce. Darker greens are nutrient-dense and contain less water, making them the ultimate go-to snack for health nuts.

 

  1.  Water. Water. Water

There is nothing more important than staying hydrated and drinking enough water. The health benefits of staying hydrated (without drinking added sugars) are innumerable. Water helps to improve skin health, regulate your body’s internal processes and body temperature and supports your kidneys, just to name a few!
